Welcome!
The SJWWC is a great source of information, involvement and social contact
for women living in London.
We are a basis of support and cooperation for our members and the
community, and lend our time and financial support to local charities.
Our ever-changing membership is dedicated to welcoming
new members and their families to London.

SJWWC provides
a meeting place where both expatriates and permanent residents will
find others with whom they share common ground. At our
monthly general meetings, we greet newcomers,
share our latest adventures, learn about new ones, and
have an interesting guest speaker.
Members
receive weekly informational emails and our monthly newsletter published
here on the website. The newsletter contains information about our
general meetings, and
is crammed with all our activity groups' current events.
Members have the opportunity to take part in classes,
lectures, cultural events, tours and so much more. We invite you
to join us at a General Meeting and see what we're all about! For
more information about the SJWWC, please contact us at

We welcome you
to London and hope you enjoy your stay!
Who
We Are: Twenty-five years ago, 14 women met to form the St.
John's Wood Women's Club. We have since grown to more than 450 dynamic
members. SJWWC is predominantly an expatriate club, although many
of our members are permanent residents in the UK. We are an independent,
not-for-profit organization, and welcome citizens of all nationalities
and backgrounds. Most of our members live in the northern
sector of London (St. John's Wood, Maida Vale, Hampstead, Swiss
Cottage), although we have members from all over the greater London
area…and in countries around the world.
